This class, taught in the tradition of B.K.S. Iyengar, will focus on developing a mindful awareness of the body through careful attention to alignment and body mechanics. It will include a variety of yoga poses, ranging from invigorating standing poses to deeply-relaxing, supported restorative poses. In Iyengar-style yoga poses are approached in a detailed and methodical way that allows the practitioner to work in a way that is both challenging and safe.

Your child will learn stretches and poses to help with neuromuscular development, build confidence and improve balance and coordination. We will show you simple ways to relax and help your child create a positive attitude towards thieir own bodies. Parents and family members are invited to join in the class and fun ending with a nutritious snack for everyone.
